Breakfast is amazing! Lovely hosts! Easy location to access central Hakuba and not far away from the best spots to eat. Simple layout and good service!

The environment is peaceful and beautiful, the host is friendly and welcoming, and the breakfast is hearty and generous! It gives people a sense of comfort and intimacy like "going home"!

Due to the traditional Japanese style, the larger bathroom feels a bit oppressive, but overall it is still very comfortable!

Sunny side hut has a real homey feel! Erica & Tomo-san did an excellent job of hosting us & the other guests! Breakfasts were yummy, and whilst we didn’t eat dinner, the other guests mentioned that it was a real treat! Tomo-san picked us from the train station, and helped with the seamless check in & check out processes. There is a charge of 800 yen for drop offs that shuttles doesn’t service, which is a great deal considering Uber would be charging 2/3000 yen+ for similar distance journeys. Great access to the Goryu & Hakuba47 slopes, just a minute walk to the nearby free shuttle bus. Tomo-san even helped with ski rentals!
